I had high hopes for this light. Given the price I thought it would last for years. I kept this on my sailboat because some kind of light is required for emergencies. And, it needs to work when you are in trouble. After less than one year of storage the plastic where the lens and body thread together is broken. It's trash. "Xylex" must be a secret code word for cheap plastic. Spend your money on something else if you want it to last or work when you need it.
